Bob Attrell Sr. has been in the Automotive Industry for over fifty years. Born in Orillia, Ontario and educated in Toronto. He entered the industry as a technician in 1960. From working as a technician to owning his own repair shop in the west side of Toronto, Bob has always had a great passion for the auto industry.

With this passion for vehicles Bob sought out a company that had true potential to become the next great automotive manufacturer in the world and fixed his sights on working with Toyota in 1968.

Bob began working for Toyota Canada as a service representative and after Toyota recognized his passion for the auto industry, he was promoted to the sales department. This experience with Toyota Head Office lasted 6 years and was enough to convince him that Toyota had the potential to bring a new element to Canada that would propel them to the top.

Inspired, Bob acquired the Brampton Toyota franchise in 1975, which he bought from Norman Guild of Guild Toyota. He moved the business to 250 Queen St. West in Brampton, to 243 Queen Street East, then finally to stay at 247 Queen Street East where he ran the store for 17 years.

His sons joined him in this business venture starting with his son John in 1980, then David and finally Bob Jr. His son John became the General Manager in 1990 and his son David took on the responsibility of service manger in 1997.

The family acquired the Brampton Hyundai franchise in 1990, which was later bought out by the youngest son Bob Jr. who is now dealer principal/owner of that store.

The core of Attrell Toyota's beliefs is a Christian biblical heritage that has passed down from Father to son. With these biblical principles, we have operated the dealership with integrity, honesty, hard work, and a faith that believes God has been the driving reason behind our success. Our Goal is that we constantly strive to treat our customers the way we would want to be treated.
